The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Concert Series was introduced in 2019, with support provided by the Fiddlers Steering Committee, the Livingston Concert/Lecture Series at Athens State University, and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area.
The goal of the Fiddlers Steering Committee remains the same as it did fifty-three years ago, which is to continue the tradition and keep old-time music alive. This concert series is an attempt to provide year-round entertainment in that effort, all at an affordable cost.
The Concert Series allows music lovers to enjoy the sounds of old-time music throughout the year.
These events are brought to you by the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention Steering Committee, the Livingston Concert/Lecture Series, and Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area, with funding made possible by grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment of the Arts, a federal agency.
